Monday Funday!

What a great start to our week. We have celebrated birthdays, welcomed new friends to AoSL and hit new milestones!

His first day sleeping on a cot in the toddler room. I think it went well! :-) 

We celebrated a friends 3rd birthday!

"Falling" for Apples!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our yummy Apple bar yesterday! It was such a blast to do and the kids looked like they were having a great time creating their own apple "nachos"! 

Clifford the Big Red Dog!

It's been an amazing pet week and we ended it with Clifford! The kids were beyond excited about his visit. 

Monkey Joe's Family Night!

Thank you everyone who came out to our annual bounce night! We had a new record with 95 families. It was so much fun. A huge congratulations to Avery in PK 1 for winning the gift basket!

We were so happy that some of our Academy grandparents came out to read to the kids. 

Pet week!

Our toddlers felt the Pet week theme this week by painting their own pet fish!

First Day of Fall with Toddlers!

Our transition toddler room had a great time outside on the first day of fall. They played in the leaves and everything!

Families and Pets

Ms. Heather's transition toddler class finished last week up by making family trees. They were so proud of their work. 

This week we have moved into our Pet theme and they were able to "feed the fish" using different color and shaped "food"! 

Imaginations at Work!

Another amazing photo captured this week. I LOVE this so much! The sun comes into the class early in the morning bringing our shadows out to play and these little ones are mesmerized by them!

The kids have had a great week from fun circle times to catching butterflies it's never a dull moment at AoSL!

Special moments

I was doing my morning rounds and as I was talking with Ms. Shani in PS 3 I looked over to catch this moment. Our precious little Emma was sitting right in the middle of circle time reading a book and the whole scene was so beautiful. Moments like these constantly remind me why I do what I do. These little lives are everything. 

Toddler fun!

We are loving our new Transition Toddler teacher Ms. Heather! She is introducing so much to our little ones and they are loving it. This week they have explored with play dough, finger painted, colored with crayons and so much more! We are loving to see so much important curriculum implemented with these young ones.
