No Kid Hungry Campaign

We have some amazing parents, I tell you. A Preschool parent offered to have her employees from Williams Sonoma come to the school to teach a cookie decorating class for our kiddos! This activity was to raise funds for the No Kid Hungry campaign. This campaign is working hard to end child hunger in America so we were more than happy to support this cause!

Orange is his favorite color!

Very precise!

Yummy!!

Purple next?

I need an extra napkin!

Ready for my tea, please!

Williams Sonoma even had these made for us!! We had a blast and we're glad we could support this cause.

Join us and Williams Sonoma in the fight to end child hunger today!

Fall is Here!

There are so many reasons we love Fall! The weather, the colors, the smells, the nature! I could go on forever! Here at AoSL, we are embracing Fall with open arms!

Toddler 2 made beautiful leaf prints today with splatter paint!

A sweetie from Toddler 3 embraces the weather and takes a slide for the first time ever on her own!

He loves Fall because we have PJ Day each fall!

Preschool One explores Fall nature by searching for lady bugs!

Here is a link with more fun Fall projects you can do at home with your little ones!

This week we have been all about pets! We had some special visitors this week and our Pre-K made their own vet in dramatic play! It's been a blast.

Thank you to all the parents who came out to our open house last night. And a special thank you to Pre-Scholar Enrichments and Mrs. Madeline Carter from BGA who were on hand to answer any questions. We are excited about the 2014-2015 school year!

Frog Street Press

We are so excited about our new Toddler curriculum this year. The kids were more than thrilled to meet Max the Frog who is the mascot of the new curriculum!

Tooth Fairy!

Big thanks to Brentwood Pediatric Dentistry for sending the Tooth Fairy out to AoSL to talk about proper dental hygiene! They had a great time and really enjoyed their goody bags!
