We had a great time with Prescholar Enrichments this week. Ms. Hannah taught us how to bubble hop! Bubble hop is a form of gross motor activity. Working on gross motor skills helps a child gain strength and confidence in his/her body. It also helps them get exercise and physical activity, which is important for a healthy lifestyle. Developing these skills helps a child's ability to do more complex skills in future activities.

Letter Recognition Fun!
Letter recognition is a key step in a child's ability to learn to read and write. As children play with letter manipulatives, they are gaining knowledge about the letters they interact with. They can see the difference between 'P' and 'R,' and they can also feel it. Our Preschool 3 class has been spending time working their fine motor & letter recognition skills by using dotters to identify their letters. This can be tricky- especially with look-a-like letters. Take a look at the diligence of these cuties with their dotters.
Blast Off!
Pre-K One is blasting off into outer space today! The class has been talking all about outer space, planets & rockets this week. After circle time they all took a turn blasting off through the tunnel & going to their favorite planet. We love watching imaginations run wild!
