Physical Education

High quality physical education offers children opportunities to develop the skills, concepts, and dispositions needed to be physically active for life. Sufficient, regular physical activity not only helps prevent major diseases but it also promotes learning; reduces stress, anxiety, and depression; and improves overall student wellness. Children that engage in physical activity are able to focus more on academics in the classroom. We take pride in allowing our students to have 90 minutes per day of physical activity. With the weather being so cold these days and not being able to go outside to the playgrounds, we have taken advantage of our indoor spaces to get moving! Take a look at the fun below!
