AOSL at Spring Conference

AOSL AT SPRING CONFERENCE 

Last weekend, AOSL attended the annual Spring Conference for all Academy locations. During the conference, we were excited to learn more about this year's summer theme, "Play the Day Away."

Our teachers had a wonderful time connecting with colleagues, participating in professional development sessions, and gathering new ideas to bring back to our classrooms. One of the highlights of the conference was learning from Shawn Brown, whose engaging songs and activities inspired our team. We are already working to incorporate many of his songs and techniques into our daily routines to make learning even more fun and interactive for our students.

We are excited to bring this energy and enthusiasm into the summer and look forward to sharing the "Play the Day Away" experience with our children and families!

Teacher Appreciation at AOSL

 Teacher Appreciation Week at AOSL

We are excited to share that we had a successful week celebrating our teachers and showing them how much they are loved and appreciated. This year’s Teacher Appreciation Week was themed around the 5 Love Languages, and it was truly a collaborative effort between our parents and management team to make the week so special.

For Gift Giving, we placed gift baskets at the front entrance where parents were able to leave thoughtful items and heartfelt letters for the teachers.

To incorporate Physical Touch, we brought in a giant massage chair so staff could enjoy a moment of relaxation during their day.

For Acts of Service, parents volunteered their time to read to the children, creating meaningful classroom moments. In addition, management arranged for a car wash service to come directly to AOSL during the workday so teachers could have their cars cleaned while they worked.

The week was filled with gratitude, kindness, and thoughtful gestures, and we are so thankful to everyone who helped make our teachers feel celebrated.
