Children need to remain active throughout the day; promoting outdoor
play allows them to get fresh air and explore their environment more.
Hands-on learning, the natural environment and loose parts in the
outdoors stimulate children’s senses through what they hear, touch, see
and feel.

Snake Skin!
Our friends are discovering all types of animals during Wild Things week. Today's discussion included snakes and how they shed their skin. Snakes literally grow out
of their skin. Every few months, most start rubbing against the ground
or tree branches. Starting at the mouth, a snake slithers out of its
too-tight skin.
Our students were even able to see real snake skin!

Wild Things!
Our friends are discovering WILD THINGS this week! They have been learning about all kinds of animals, including birds, snakes, and even panda bears!
An animal is considered wild if it lives
in the wilderness.Wild
animals live in a habitat, which is their natural home, like a rain forest, a mountain, a pine tree forest, or a beach.

School Bus Visit!
What a terrific morning our bootcampers had today! They started their day with a visit from a FSSD school bus! The kids were allowed ti board the bus & then took part in a question & answer session with the bus driver, Ms. Shawnta. Each child had the opportunity to speak with Ms. Shawnta & at the end, she even started the bus up so the kids could hear how loud it would be! A huge thanks to the Franklin Special School District for taking the time to visit us & help us better prepare our bootcampers for their first day of kindergarten!
