This week we have been learning about opposites during our curriculum time. Toddler 3 had a fun time putting things inside and outside of the box. What an easy, fun way to teach!

Transition time
The first of the year has brought many transitions in our school. Many of our kiddos were ready for the next classes and made their move today. The teachers were so sad to see them go, but exciting times are ahead! Some of these kiddos didn't move classes, but had some adorable pics I had to share!
Welcome back!
It was so great to have everyone back today from the holiday break. We are looking forward to a great 2015!

Christmas Program
On Friday, our kiddos were all lined up patiently waiting to take the stage to sing their favorite Christmas tunes for our Christmas Program. They did an outstanding job spreading their holiday cheer!
We just wanted to say thanks to all of the staff who worked so hard practicing and prepping for their big moment! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!

Happy Hanukkah
Thank you to Brody for bringing his menorah to school today and talking to his class about Hanukkah. The kids loved it and he even showed them how a dreidel works.
Growing Candy Canes?!
The Pre-K class planted peppermint seeds in an attempt to grown candy canes. It has been such a fun experiment for them!
Toy Drive success
THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to the toy drive for the Lillie Kay Foundation! We collected so many toys and I was so proud of everyone's generosity.
Transportation
The kids have continued the month of transportation and we were lucky to have the school bus come out for our Prek classes. They talked about bus safety and even got to get in the bus. They loved it.
Also, our toddlers talked about the subway and Ms. Tessa had a subway card from when she lived in Boston and the kids loved seeing this.
