Skittles are made and coated with sugar, so once you add warm water to
it, the coloring and coat begin to dissolve very quickly and makes a whirl of colors. Our friends in Pre K 2 enjoyed watching the colors disappear from the candies and unto the plate. They experimented with warm water and cold water and also learned new science vocabulary words like "dissolve."
Oh what fun science is?!
